What an amazing sign to let us know that Uncle Al will always be with us.
Returned home from Uncle Al’s funeral and went into our living room.
The beautiful Black Swallowtail was BORN!
Anthony, Michelle, and Joey all popped over the house after Uncle Al’s funeral. I decided to make a fire in our living room. Anthony walked in and said, “Meg, why is a butterfly in your living room?”
I was so psyched. I have been waiting for the Black Swallowtails to be born since this past September. I have 8 in their cocoon phase. These swallowtails have been in their cocoon state for 9 months. On this day, this one decided to be born. I was so excited and I knew it was my Uncle Al, sending me my confirmation that he will never leave us. What an amazing gift; it was so beautiful!
This date is also a special date for Michelle. It’s been 2 years since her mom transitioned. It meant so much to all of us. The miracle of the butterfly…

The gifts are always being sent to us, if we only slow down… and pay attention.
They truly never leave us. That’s where the miracles lie.
