Good Luck Day

June 13th, 2008
FRIDAY, THE 13TH
The Good Luck day!
I arrived at the Hartford house to meet the carpenters.
As I got out of the car a huge BRIGHT, BRIGHT orange Baltimore oriole flew over me. What a gorgeous, gorgeous color. It was so bright and pure! The carpenters said, “that bird has been here waiting for you to arrive.”
I visited with my neighbor Olga to give her a few of my magnets as a gift, and she was so excited to see me! She greets me with a huge hug and says’ “I was thinking about you on Mother’s Day.  How are you? Meg, the pain never goes away.  I know how close you and your mother were.  You never get over that pain in your heart.” I gave her another hug, thanking her for caring about me and my feelings. That’s when I told her: “That’s why I have people like you in my life.  Thank you.”
It’s the love of people that reach out with their caring and comforting words that keep us all together. They are the angels that walk the earth.  If you ever feel like you are alone just reach out to someone with a kind and thoughtful word and you too will see the doors open and an angel will appear.
What a wonderful life!
Love and Gratitude,
Meg
