Hey everyone,
Wow, I’m psyched! My caterpillars are back! I spotted them eating the green leaves of one of my perennial plants. They were having the time of their life chomping away!
When I checked on them a few days later, they were crawling and crawling and crawling up and down my front yard flowers- all along the dirt, leaves, and weeds. I watched as they made their way all the way to the BACK of our yard!
That’s where they found my parsley. How excited I was when I saw this going on! I HAD to run and buy more parsley plants! They love parsley, and I love to feed them. I will watch them as they spin into their cocoon stage.
The messages they reveal to us truly captivate. They symbolize the unknown when they transform themselves from a cocoon stage into an AMAZING Black Swallowtail butterfly!
It’s one of nature’s miracles.
I look forward to seeing them return each year when they dance around our Cosmos plants and other flowers. The changes they go through to TRANSFORM themselves from the caterpillar into such a beautiful, amazing, magical, wonderful winged miracle for all of us to embrace! The joy they send us!
