It’s the Hunter Full Moon…Also known as the Harvest Moon.Another name is the Dying Grass Moon…The Travel Moon…The Shedding Moon…The Sanguine Moon…
As we reflect upon all of our rewards from our gardens- flowers, herbs, and other wonderful living things… we gather them and dry them for our winter months.
Pick the last of your beautiful flowers until next year!Take in all the joy, beauty, and comfort that we are gifted from our labor of love. Give thanks to the soil that provided us these gifts.
These plants give us food to share in our long winter days, along with the memories of those beautiful, hot summer days to ponder when it gets cold.
I enjoy digging up all our onions, potatoes, and other shade crops. But I already miss my hummingbirds and butterflies, along with all of my beautiful flowers!
As I was writing this, I looked up and was so excited- our two bluebirds landed on our bird bath! The tanzanite blue of these gorgeous winged friends just take my breath away and truly rock my world!
The Hunter Moon will brighten the sky tomorrow night, Wednesday the 20th.Prepare for your letting go, my friends!
