Hi everyone,
On Friday, May 1st, we’ll have our first Full Moon in May, the Flower Moon.
(There are actually two full moons this month!)
The Flower Moon is named for Spring blossoms sprouting up this time of year.
This full moon also corresponds with May Day, the ancient European festival celebrating the beginning of Summer, since it’s halfway between the Spring Equinox and the Midsummer Solstice!
The moon is in the sign of Scorpio:
-Magnetic
-Mysterious
-Intuitive
The Flower Moon is a good time to reflect on the beauty of nature.
While you meditate in your sacred space, focus your mind on a beautiful field of sunflowers, in the bright color of yellow.
Sunflowers represent “hope” and “gratitude”, two wonderful words that carry such inner peace.
Plant a few sunflower seeds in your garden, and when they rise up from Mother Earth, they will bring you joy.
Take a few moments out of your busy day, and pause as we all pray for hope for the world.
Hope heals our body, mind, and soul.
Without hope, you’re cancelling out all of the miracles that your angels, guides, and God send you.
Happy Full Moon!
Happy May Day!
Happy Cinco de Mayo!
Looking forward to seeing you,
Meg
