The Beauty of Monarch Butterflies & Full Moon!

Hi everyone,

I love this plant! It gets a bad rap because it’s usually categorized as a weed. It’s called Milkweed. Unbekownst to me, about 20 years ago, I planted it in the entrance of our house. I just love orange and it was such a stunning shade of the color.

Over the years, it has been the birth place for many, many, magical, gorgeous, Monarch Butterflies. Every year I watch the caterpillars on this plant.

Then I watch the journey of each caterpillar crawl slow and steady to the back of our house. That’s the place they love to eat, and eat, and EAT a lot of our parsley!

When they are full and ready, the caterpillars spin their cocoon and hang dormant until the magical moment happens- the birth of these amazing miracles of Monarchs.

I really never tire of watching this miracle happen in our world of beauty. Every year, the butterflies return to the place that they were born.

The other morning, as I was heading to work, I saw one of our magical Monarchs right on top of our milkweed plant. Yes, I should’ve just kept focusing on going to my shop…

…Sorry, but I just couldn’t!

I stayed and watched and observed every step it made. It walked to each flower, enjoying the nectar of energy it was receiving.

My message to you is to plant these gorgeous “weeds” in your yard, and save our Monarchs! You will also get to enjoy the joy and beauty of both the gorgeous flowers and spectacular Monarchs year after year.

Happy planting and observing!

“”Full Moon Friday” is closing in!

August’s Full Moon rises in the sky this Thursday, August 27th,

and will be the brightest around midnight Friday on the East Coast.

Prepare your items that you need to release. Also, it’s another lunar eclipse!

Shed another layer and don’t look back, my friends!

August’s full moon is known as the Sturgeon Moon,

named by the Algonquin people after the fish that were abundant this time of year.

It’s also known as the Corn Moon, Harvest Moon, or Black Cherries Moon.

The moon is (fittingly) in the sign of Pisces:

-Intuitive

-Creative

-Releases emotional burdens

Emotions are high in the sign of Pisces and everyone will feel this. Imagination is high too, so work with your inspirational energy for smooth sailing this Full Moon!

The Lunar Eclipse is a great time for healing, gardening, and farming.

Get busy gathering your abundance of vegetables and herbs for the winter months to arrive. You will be so happy that you did!

Gratitude,

Meg
