Hi everyone,
Last week I was really, really, really asking for a sign for what I was working on.
I decided to walk out and sit on our front chair, my happy place in nature with our hummers, bluebirds, woodpeckers, deer, chipmunks, woodchucks and other visitors.
Nature is our best medicine!
Especially when we are working on our stuff…
My gift was incredible:
I was starring at our beautiful milkweed plant with those gorgeous orange flowers, and wondering what was all over it that was black.
As I looked closer and closer, omg, about thirty black furry caterpillars were eating away at the plant!
I was psyched because I planted it years ago to save our black swallowtails.
This was such a gift to me.
My mom gifted me 13 of them on our parsley, 21 years ago… And we witnessed their freedom to another world…
I have told many people to save our swallowtails and plant milkweed because they need this plant for their survival.
When I saw them, the answers to what I was working on came to me front and center.
I was grateful.
The next day, I went to look at them and only a few were still there.
I was a little sad, but knew they will be born here in our yard, on our flowers and will return every year.
They always return to the place they are born.
I walked down the side of the house to the back and, omg, there they were! Eating all of our parsley and some of them were starting to go into the cocoon stage of life.
This is such a miracle to watch and the message behind it has always brought joy to my heart.
Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly!
Plant milkweed and be a part of the miracle my friends… It is precious
